Dioridium hirsutum Zajciw, 1961
Dioridium hirsutum Zajciw, 1961: 218; Monné, 2023a: 226 (cat.).
Remarks. This species was described based on a single specimen from Brazil (Mato Grosso). However, the type locality, Coxim, is currently a city in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul. According to Martins (1999) (translated): “ Dioridium consists of two species of which only three individuals are known. Dioridium hirsutum, in addition to the holotype from Coxim, Mato Grosso, is only registered for Jataí, Goiás, and is probably linked to the gallery forests of the Cerrado morphoclimatic domain. Dioridium borgmeieri is only known from the holotype from Macajuba, Pará.” We were unable to find a previous work in which any author recorded D. hirsutum for the Brazilian state of Goiás. Thus, although Martins (1999) did not provide a list of examined specimens, we believe that the new record is his. However, we are correcting the state of the type locality, Mato Grosso do Sul, and formally excluding the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso as an area of occurrence of D. hirsutum . This is because today there are no reported specimens from this Brazilian state. Monné (2023a), and Tavakilian and Chevillotte (2023) listed this species from Brazil (Goiás and Mato Grosso); Bezark (2023b) listed only the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso.
