European distribution: Albania, Austria, Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia (European part), Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Ukraine (Sammet et al. 2016; ČervenÁ et al. 2020c; WPC 2024).

Notes: An interesting finding is the tritonymph of D. cyrneus, which was found under the bark of a pine tree at the sampling site VajnorskÁ hora. No specimens of this species have been found recently in Bratislava .
