European distribution: Austria, Bulgaria, Czechia, Hungary, Lithuania, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia (NovÁk 2012; KrajčovičovÁ et al. 2020; WPC 2024).

Notes: The male of C. similis from sampling site 129 was reidentified; it was originally misidentified as C. hahnii (Krumpál & Christophoryová 2007) . So far, the species has been found in leaf litter and soil in Bratislava (Krumpál & ChristophoryovÁ 2007; ChristophoryovÁ 2013; ČervenÁ et al. 2020b). This was also confirmed by a new finding in Štokeravská vápenka, where three females were extracted from leaf litter blown into a cave.
