European distribution: Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Ukraine (Novák et al. 2019, WPC 2024).

Notes: Neobisium carpaticum is known from leaf litter and soil of oak-hornbeam forests in the Malé Karpaty Mts. (ChristophoryovÁ 2013). The new sampling sites in Bratislava are located in VajnorskÁ hora, and the species was found in leaf litter and fallen bark.
