Cirrhitidae

Cirrhitichthys corallicola Tee-Van, 1940: 58, text-figure 2. Paratypes (Fig. 68): ICN-MHN 1083 (2, 33.6–44.2 mm SL), Colombia, Pacific Ocean, Isla de Gorgona, 02°58’N 78°11’W; New York Zoological Society, 30 Mar 1938 .

Remarks: The lot of paratypes of Cirrhitichthys corallicola was found in the general collection. Currently treated as a junior synonym of Cirrhitichthys oxycephalus (Bleeker, 1855) (Randall, 1963) .
