Differential diagnosis. The female of C. galbina is reminiscent of the females of Indocnemis orang (Förster in Laidlaw, 1907) and I. marijanmatoki Phan, 2018, and the female of C. ambigua Asahina, 1997, which are all large and have dorsally blue ringed S8–9 and similar synthorax and prothorax pattern. Coeliccia ambigua has more contrasting ventral markings near the nodes of the abdomen, but I. orang and I. marijanmatoki are similarly blackish. Coeliccia ambigua has a posterior pronotal lobe of typical Coeliccia form, with a small rounded central part and small lapels, whereas in C. galbina these lapels are absent and the posterior pronotal lobe is very broadly fan-shaped (Fig. 15c). Female I. orang also lacks lapels, but has a simple posterior pronotal lobe, which is not incised laterally, whereas that of I. marijanmatoki is not nearly as wide, but apparently also lacks lapels (Phan 2018). In the female of these two Indocnemis species the pterostigma is warm brown, not red as in C. galbina .
