Caccomolpus flectipes Broun, 1914:259 . Type locality: Mt Hutt, near Methven.

Comment. Broun based this species on one specimen that we located in the BMNH.

Type examined. Holotype (BMNH): re-mounted on card with aedeagus extracted and mounted at front edge of card [tarsi of right mid-leg missing], “3667. [in Broun’s hand] // New Zealand.
