Holotype MLS 268 (fig. 7). “ Páramo de Táma, Norte de Santander, Colombia. This mountain reaches an elevation of 3400 meters and is located south of Cúcuta, close to the border with Venezuela. Lower limit of páramo zone is about 3000 meters.” 27 Oct. 1941.

Remarks: Locality on label: “ Norte de Santander, down to Toledo, Colombia ”. Specimen MLS 268 is hydrated, presents slight decay but is in overall good state of preservation.
