Common name: Himalaya Mouse

Myanmar name:

Distribution: Middle-to-high elevations of the Himalayas and Hengduan Mountains (1600 – 3800 m) and possibly in Northern Myanmar (Chen et al. 2023).

Remarks: This species is previously considered a subspecies of M. minutus or M. erythrotis (Chen et al. 2023) . Further taxonomic identification and geographical distribution is needed in Myanmar.
