The genus occurring in North and Central America now contains 11 species. Characteristics contained by the transferred species that allowed generic assignment are the following: somewhat robust head; granulose body; femora II with pre-medial lobes in one species; abdominal segments elongate; cerci short; similar morphology of the terminalia.
