Genus Dyme Stål, 1875: 24

This genus occurs mostly in the Bolivarian countries and the three transferred species fall within the previously known occurrence. The genus now contains 12 species. Characteristics contained by the transferred species that allowed generic assignment are the following: relatively large head with convex vertex; elongate body; long tarsi; similar morphology of teminalia, especially tergum IX of the male with lateral expansions and tergum X of the female short and somewhat widened.
