Material examined. 1 ♀, labeled ‘ THAILAND, 17.ii.1987, Prov., Chiang Mai, Doi Inthanon, 1020 m, P. Schwendinger / Horniella sp. 7, ♀, det. Z.-W. Yin, 2014 ’ (MHNG).
Measurements. Female (Fig. 51 A). BL 3.16 mm, HL 0.76 mm, HW 0.64 mm, PL 0.65 mm, PW 0.64 mm, EL 0.73 mm, EW 1.28 mm, AL 1.02 mm, AW 1.35 mm. Each eye composed of about 20 facets.
Distribution. Thailand: Chiang Mai (Map 4).
Remarks. Body size of this female is much larger than that of H. loebli, which is the only known species from Doi Inthanon, which when combined with the lack of median and lateral discal carinae on tergite IV, and the form of the genital complex (Fig. 52 G), indicates that this probably represents a separate and undescribed species.
