First faunistic record for Croatia: Krauss 1879
Distribution in Croatia: Common along the Adriatic coast with adjacent islands, found also in the Dinaric Alps. Not recorded, but most likely present in Istria.
Distribution in Europe: Mediterranean species, present on the Iberian Peninsula, Central and Southern France, Sardinia, Sicily and Italy, the West and South Balkans, Crete, Rhodes and Cyprus, as well as in the Southern Crimea (Hochkirch et al. 2016).
