Distribution Europe: Widespread in the entire continent, from Portugal in the west and Southern Finland in the north, to Southern Spain and Mediterranean islands (Lampedusa, Crete and Cyprus) in the south and Eastern European Russia in the east (Hochkirch et al. 2016).
