Distribution in Croatia: Rather widespread and common along the Adriatic coast with islands (Hvar, Mljet, Šipan) and the southern slopes of the Dinaric Alps.

Distribution in Europe: Widespread in the Mediterranean, from Northeastern Spain in the west and Southern France and Slovenia in the north, to Sicily in the south and Greece in the east (Hochkirch et al. 2016).
