Distribution in Croatia: Present in all regions, usually associated with human settlements.
Distribution in Europe: Very widespread, present in almost all European countries except Fennoscandian Peninsula. Natural distribution still unclear, probably all populations north of the Alps introduced by humans (Hochkirch et al. 2016).
