Distribution in Croatia: Restricted to higher altitudes in the Dinaric Alps (from Žumberak–Samoborsko gorje Mts.: Nagy 2006, Ćićarija Mt.: Skejo & Tvrtković 20.VIII.2013, Kupjak: Puskás et al. 2018, and Risnjak Mt.: Rebrina & Tvrtković 24. VII.2014, 25.VIII.2014, to Lička Plješivica Mt: Tvrtković 15.VIII.2013).

Distribution in Europe: From the Pyrenees and Southern Scotland in the west, and Northern Scandinavia in the north, to Southern Serbia in the south and Eastern European Russia in the east (Hochkirch et al. 2016).
