First faunistic record for Croatia: Heller 1988 (after Schumacher 1978)

Distribution in Croatia: Rovinj (Istria). Introduced African species, differs from R. nitidula by a smaller number of stridulatory teeth (64–86 vs.> 120). Another introduced population in Europe recorded in Bodensee (Germany) (Heller 1988).
