M. ornata reliquiae Korb, Stradomsky & Kuznetsov, 2015

[TL: Russian Federation, Volgograd Province Olkhovsky district, Kamenny Brod] is figured by the authorities both upper and underside (Korb et al. 2015: plate 1: figs 5 & 6). The specimens photographed (Figs 20 A, B, C) clearly show the wing morphology and spatulate antennae, characteristics of M. ornata rather than M. phoebe .
