Remark.
This species was found from high elevated lands of Asir province and exhibited an Afrotropical distribution. It is a phytophagous coccinellid.

Local distribution.
Specimens of this species were collected from Raydah mountains of Asir and previously reported by Shalaby (1962) from Asir and by Beccari (1971) from Asir.
World distribution.
Asia: SA (Shalaby 1962; Beccari 1971); South, West, and Central Africa ( Fürsch 1991).
