Distribution. From Central to Southern Europe.

Distribution in Romania. Epigeal records. Sf. Gheorghe (ML07) (Kuthy 1896); Sighişoara (LM21), Braşov (LL85) (all: Petri 1912, 1926); Comana (MJ39) (Montandon 1908) Hypogeal records. Caraşului gorge (ER 60) (M.S.S., 10.VII.2004, VI leg., ISER) (Fig. 4).

Ecological status. Trogloxene.
