Zoogeographic element. Euro-Caucasian.

Distribution. Europe, from south-west (Spain, France), south (Italian mainland) to to Central and Eastern (Germany, Hungary, Romania) and to South-Eastern (Balkan Peninsula: Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina); eastward to the Caucasus.

Distribution in Romania. Epigeal records. Bäile Herculane (FQ17) (Kuthy 1896), Domogled (FQ17) (Ieniştea, unpublished note in a copy of Kuthy’s (1896) catalogue, 1979) (Fig. 14).
