Distribution. Palaearctic. Central and southern Europe, Mediterranean basin, Central Asia. General distribution in Israel: Fig. 65.

Biology. This species lives under plants and stones in dry areas, and preys on adults and larvae of other bugs, especially Lygaeidae (Kerzhner, 1981) .
