Paranigilgia Kallies, 1998

Type species: Paranigilgia aritai Kallies, 1998 .

Paranigilgia currently includes three species: P. a r i t a i from northeastern India, P. b u s h i i (Arita, 1980) from the Ryukyu Islands (Japan) and Taiwan, and P. m o ro s a (Diakonoff, 1948) from Buru Island (Moluccas). The latter was reported from West Papua (Indonesia) and New Britain (Papua New Guinea) (Kallies 2004); however, reexamination of the material indicates that these records belong to a different species, which is described below, along with another new species from Sulawesi.
